Mirplay School at GESS Dubai: solutions for the classroom of the future

This year, we participated for the first time in GESS Dubai, the leading event in educational innovation in the United Arab Emirates. Over three intense days, the fair combined inspiring talks with practical and dynamic workshops, offering attendees the opportunity to learn about the latest trends in education and explore new tools for learning.

GESS Dubai is the only exhibition in the UAE dedicated to educational solutions across the entire spectrum, from pre-school to higher education, bringing together manufacturers, distributors, designers and professionals from the education sector from around the world.

Our main objective in this first participation was to gain a deeper understanding of the local market, identify the specific needs of educational centres in the region and explore opportunities for collaboration and distribution. For us, this first contact with the educational community in Dubai is a key step in our internationalisation and expansion strategy.

A stand that simulates real classroom spaces

To showcase our new school furniture in a practical and attractive way, we designed a stand that recreated different classroom environments, reflecting how school furniture can be adapted to different educational needs.

Rest and comfort area

Fitted with Kalin sofas and Manny armchairs, designed for moments of rest, reading or relaxation. This area aims to demonstrate how comfortable spaces not only improve students’ well-being, but also promote concentration and creativity when they return to more active pursuits.

Individual work area

Space with Pua tables, Jon stools, Locky lockers and Kido bleachers, designed for structured study and personal organisation. An area with school accessories was also incorporated here, such as the Lika blackboard with its individual hanger and the Slide coat rack, showing how functional details facilitate organisation and student autonomy. This space shows how a classroom can combine functionality and ergonomics, offering a comfortable environment that promotes attention and productivity.

Collaborative area

It includes Pie modular seating, ideal for encouraging interaction, teamwork and collective creativity. This area demonstrates how flexible spaces allow teachers to organise group dynamics in an agile way, adapting the classroom according to the educational activity.

School chair exhibition space

In addition, we dedicated a specific area to showcase our best-selling school chairs, such as the Mia Basic, Ina and Jun models, allowing visitors to learn about their ergonomic and design features. This space highlighted the quality, comfort and versatility of our chairs, key elements for any modern classroom.

Every detail of the stand was designed to put Mirplay School’s philosophy into practice, where classroom versatility and adaptability are essential for enhancing learning. The layout of the furniture and the creation of different environments sought to inspire visitors on how to transform educational spaces into more dynamic, functional and welcoming places.

Connecting with the education of the future

Participating in GESS Dubai allowed us to exchange experiences with education professionals, learn about new trends and discover how our solutions can be adapted to different educational contexts.

We are convinced that this first step will help us expand our international presence and continue to offer solutions that transform educational spaces, making the classroom a more comfortable, versatile and stimulating place where teachers and students can learn, collaborate and relax in harmony.

The experience at GESS Dubai has been a source of inspiration and a reminder that the future of education lies in spaces that integrate comfort, functionality and creativity. At Mirplay School, we remain committed to this vision and to supporting educational centres in their transformation towards more innovative classrooms that are adapted to the needs of students.
